Businesses utilizing this platform can select specific payment components that suit their needs, while simultaneously mitigating the challenges associated with licensing, compliance, safeguarding, and operational infrastructure. Potje has been actively involved in the development phase of this platform and now stands as its first live partner. Through this collaboration, Potje users enjoy secure fund management under the supervision of the Dutch Central Bank, with the added convenience of a Europe-wide Pay by Bank service for adding funds. The integration ensures that payouts are processed instantly and withdrawals are flexible, enhancing the user experience. Potje’s CEO, Bastiaan Reurink, emphasized that this partnership aims to simplify and secure the process of group saving, with the goal of establishing Potje as a premier group money account across Europe.
Arjen van Klaarbergen, Chief Legal Officer of Quantoz Payments, noted that the new service equips fintechs and platforms with a regulated digital-money infrastructure, eliminating the need for them to develop their own compliance and payment operations from scratch. Operating under its existing regulatory framework, Quantoz Payments is licensed as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in the Netherlands and is regulated by the Dutch Central Bank. The Embedded Payment Services are accessible to fintechs, platforms, and payment service providers within the European Economic Area (EEA).
